When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
All UK orders are sent via 1st class Royal Mail / recorded / special delivery or parcel post and may require a signature. We aim to process and despatch all orders within 6 working days. Royal Mail aim to deliver First Class within 2 working days & Standard Parcels within 5 working days but the delivery times are an estimate only and are not guaranteed by Royal Mail which can take up to two weeks. If there is no one available to sign for your order, Royal Mail will leave a notification card and your order will be taken to your local post office where it will be available for collection. Your parcel will be kept at your local post office for 5 days, if it is not collected it will be returned to us, and will need further shipping payment for the parcel to be resent. Orders are only classified as missing in the post 15 days after posting. If 15 days or more have passed and your order has not been received, please contact us. Taxable items have 17.5% VAT (sales tax) added. Any credit card details you entered are transmitted over a secure(SSL) link and stored using 128-bit encryption. Small n Smart cannot refund postage charges for unwanted items nor can we reimburse postage and shipping costs incurred by returning an unwanted item We guarantee your satisfaction. In addition, customers from the European Union are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm We reserve the right to charge the actual postage that we have incur for any item returned For goods returned after 7 days we reserve the right to charge the following: Goods returned 8-14 days a 20% restocking charge Goods returned 15-28 days a 50% restocking charge Goods returned after 28 days will not be refunded Please note that you are responsible for the item until it reaches us. We cannot give refund to any item that you have sent but didn’t reach us. For this reason we would strongly advise you to return the item using an insured and secure shipping method. For example, Recorded Delivery or Special Delivery so that you can claim against the shipping carrier for lost or damaged items and easily trace it. We are happy to exchange any item. For all exchange(s), please include the additional postage charge £5.00 for first item and £3.00 each additional item with your return.
